If your system has a Flow3 Hydrometer, it is necessary to drain any water from the pipeline at the beginning of winter. This is an important step to help prevent the pipes from bursting in freezing conditions.
Refer to the illustration and steps below.
Caution
DO NOT use compressed air to blow out the Flow3 Hydrometer.
Before draining, make sure there is no pressure in the line.
1. Dissassemble the plug.
2. Assemble the drainage ball valve.
3. Assemble elbow.
