The message, “Flash Failure”, is created when the following occurs:
- The SPI flash does not respond during power up
- A configuration file written comes back with a checksum
- Message is automatically cleared once the above failure conditions do not occur
- Under rare conditions the SPI flash can become unresponsive and will require the power to be cycled to become responsive again. A controller reset will not fix this unresponsive state.
- If this message does not go away after a power cycle, then the display board will need to be repaired.
