FYI
- Dry contacts = (would need to use) Pump start biCoder
- Coil contactor = (would need to use) Any of our hardware that can power a solenoid (5201/2/4 or R board)
- If a dry contact or coil contactor is used with the opposite piece of hardware, it will not work at all.
There are no scenarios in our role that would involve dealing with “wet contacts”
Why? - Dry contacts are switches that don't have a shared power source, while wet contacts provide power. Dry contacts are also known as volt-free contacts, and they open and close a separate circuit. Wet contacts are often found in solid-state switching, like sensors.
