Overview

This document outlines how BaseStation controllers display multi-carrier SIM information inside the BaseStation Network menus and how it relates to what is printed on the cell modem labeling.

Printed on the Cloud Network Module Cell Modem

The SIM number is displayed on the printed label adhered to the Cloud Network Module.

SIM Information Displayed in the Network Menus

Within the BaseStation network menus, the BaseStation displays a shortened version of the SIM card eID (Embedded Identity Document). This is expected BaseStation / multi-carrier Cloud Network Module behavior. The eID is a 32-digit serial number permanently built into SIM card. This number is tied to the SIM number and can be used to find the SIM number in Baseline internal portals.
