A rebate is a form of discount on a purchasable Item. The government offers rebates on smart irrigation controllers or soil sensors similar to solar panels as an incentive to purchase environmental devices. Similar to how solar panels return energy to the grid, our smart irrigation devices significantly reduce water usage, alleviating total demand.
