IMPORTANT

As part of Target's ongoing commitment to sustainability and water management, they have announced an important update to our WeatherTRAK access process.

Target's “green” initiative is aiming to help Target Stores save between 20% and 50% of their annual irrigation water usage by utilizing the WeatherTRAK irrigation system, which delivers the highest level of irrigation water management available.  As part of this effort, Target has updated its corporate user access policy for their WeatherTRAK systems.

  • Starting May 1st, 2026, any landscape technician who needs access to the Target WeatherTRAK irrigation controller to use either the WeatherTRAK Mobile App feature or the WeatherTRAK Central web portal must complete the Target WeatherTRAK Basic Training Course.
  • Existing users will also need to complete the WeatherTRAK basic training course by 7/1/2026 to renew their access.

This document is intended to provide an overview of the new Target Corporate training certification and access policy.
